Time Warner Shares Could Rise Over the Coming Year

Time Warner inched up after Barron’s said the shares could gain 20% over the coming year due to a successful “Wonder Woman” opening over the weekend. Time Warner owns Warner Bros., which controls DC Entertainment, the rights holder for “Wonder Woman” comics.

Additional benefits will stem from an expected merger between Time Warner and AT&T (T) that will pay 8% more than Time Warner’s recent stock price, the story noted. Further releases expected to do well are also in the pipeline, the story said, including at least two more Godzilla and King Kong movies planned over the next three years.
